Since 1987, New York City has been a sister city of Tipitapa. Over time, a dynamic partnership has developed, promoting better living standards through sustainable development projects that prioritize social justice and mutual respect. Our most recent efforts have used local skills and resources to build libraries. These projects improve not only book accessibility but also youth participation, literacy and health outcomes.
